Who we are

Placenta Practice was founded and is run by me, Amanda Denton. I am a highly qualified and clinically safe placenta encapsulation specialist with over 20 years of experience in the childcare sector. Trained and certified by the Independent Placenta Encapsulation Network (IPEN), I’m also a member of the Placenta Remedies Network (PRN). My years or experience and these first-class credentials mean I operate to the highest standards of quality and hygiene. I am thrilled that Placenta Practice was the UK’s first placenta remedies company to be audited and registered by the Environmental Health Office.

UK’s first and only purpose built Placenta Collection Kit

Our specially designed Placenta Collection Kit is the only bespoke kit in the country, unique to our clients and designed for us by a leading bio-medical scientist. It is based on proven NHS techniques to safely transport organs. Kit remains cold for up to 72 hours, allowing clients plenty of time to labour. Once the placenta is placed in the kit it will maintain safe temperature levels for up to 12 hours.

Collection services

We offer free Bronze collection of your placenta from your home as standard. Your placenta will be collected within 24-48 hours of birth. For additional convenience and to suit different client needs we offer a further two other, optional, collection services,

  1. Bronze: FREE of charge. Collection from your home within 24-48 hours by a Placenta Practice employee.
  2. Silver: Optional extra. Collection from your home, within 24 hours of birth.
  3. Gold: Optional extra. Collection from hospital, within 12 hours of birth.
  4. Courier: FREE of charge. Collection from your home address using a specialist courier. (Please read notes below)

Our most popular service is the Gold. Clients choose this level to avoid sending their partners home with the placenta by a certain time. Other benefits include; knowing your placenta will be collected and stored safely, even if your hospital does not let you store it in their fridge; and processing is quicker so your remedies arrive sooner.

PLEASE NOTE: If your area is covered by our courier service, you will need to add our Placenta Collection Kit to your order. Without our kit we will not be able to fulfill your order.

We cover the whole of the UK

Clients throughout the UK can now benefit from our government audited and registered service, for no extra cost. Using specialist couriers we are able to collect your placenta from your home and safely transport it to our practice. Our clients further afield now have the opportunity to benefit from our unrivalled expertise, uncompromising service and impeccable reputation.

We are amongst a select few companies to have been audited and registered by the governments Environmental Health Office. This means our practice, processes, equipment and safety procedures are amongst the highest in the UK.

We collect, in person, from homes and hospitals across; London, Surrey, Essex, Kent, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Hertfordshire, Somerset, Wiltshire, West Sussex. Depending on order size, certain parts of these locations will be covered by our free courier service.
