Placenta encapsulation UK service

With the popularity of placenta encapsulation soaring, we are delighted to be able to serve mums wherever they give birth in the UK, for no extra charge. So whether you are in Birmingham or Newcastle, Manchester or Cardiff, Leicester or Edinburgh, Brighton or Belfast … or anywhere else in the UK, placenta encapsulation is an option for you.

How does placenta collection across the UK work?

At Placenta Practice we will arrange a specialist courier to collect your placenta from your home. You use our Placenta Collection Kit to safely care for the placenta while you are in hospital. You or your partner then take the kit home. Our courier collects it and safely transports your placenta to our Practice. We then process your placenta in line with our government recognised safety procedures to create the remedies you have ordered. Our processing methods aim to preserve your placenta’s wonderful healing powers. Our capsules, creams and balms will help heal, soothe and pamper both you and your baby.

PLEASE NOTE: When your area is covered by our courier service, you will need to add our Placenta Collection Kit to your order. Without our kit we will not be able to fulfill your order.

Our collection service is totally free: we pick up your Placenta Collection Kit from your home at a convenient time for you after the birth of your baby. We absorb the cost of the specialist courier collection to reach as many women across the UK as we can. We feel passionately that every woman should have the opportunity to benefit from her placenta.

UK placenta experts

With growing demand for placenta encapsulation in the UK, we have made it as easy as possible for mums to benefit from our expertise. Placenta Practice is founded by me, Amanda, an expert placenta encapsulation specialist..

I was trained and certified by the Independent Placenta Encapsulation Network (IPEN) and am a member of Placenta Remedies Network (PRN). To reassure you further, Placenta Practice was the first placenta remedies company in the UK to be recognised by the governments Environmental Health Office. We then introduced the UK's first professionally designed Placenta Collection Kit to further improve client safety and to offer clients convenience on the big day. In 2019 we achieved another UK first by becoming the only company in the UK to have all its remedies independently tested by a well respected microbiologist. Unlike any other company in the UK, safety of our processes and remedies have now been tested, or recognised, at multiple levels.

I am passionate about placenta encapsulation because of the huge benefits my clients say they have experienced. I have had the privilege to work with thousands of women and receive overwhelming feedback about more energy, better milk production, better mood and general feeling of well-being. I can certainly add to this following the birth of my daughter and my amazing postnatal recovery using placenta remedies.

"I didn’t use Placenta Practice with my first born as the process just hadn’t been on my radar. However, during my second pregnancy, I’d heard more and more people recommending it and decided to research further myself. I’m so, so glad I did. My recovery and mental wellbeing were entirely different to how I felt the first time around and there was no crash of hormones or ‘adjustment’ period; just a mum with an additional baby. I decided not to take the capsules for a few days to check whether or not they were doing their job and felt a real drop in energy and mood, so I’m definitely of the opinion they have a positive impact during those first few, exhausting weeks.

I can’t praise Amanda highly enough; she’s professional, thorough and on hand should you ever need any questions answered. I love her reason for starting the company (her mother’s PND); it means she’s invested in each woman on a personal level and her business is driven by the desire to help mums rather than making money. Everything’s very simple, taken care of and I’ll definitely be using her services again should I go on to have further children" Susie Verille
